I invested in a piece by cody for our airbnb. It elevates the space and is a story i so appreciate sharing with travelers who are looking for adventure in our city. The colors are so vibrant and the piece has so much energy that it needs to be experienced in person, as photos just don't do it justice.

Cody's artwork is so inspiring to me - Watching the transformation of her paintings over time has been an incredible experience. They have become the story of her life, her experience, and how she handled this curveball thrown at her. They talk to you, and, if you listen, they will tell you the story of Christa. It's a tear jerker but it seems as if the ending is what we want: a healthy, happy human finding her way in an unknown world and crushing it! So much love for this person, her paintings, and her story.

It's really important to us to be surrounded by art that embodies the local culture, experience, or reminder of the time I've lived in a particular community. I love having pieces by Danny Martin and Marcy Ellis since moving to Tucson, and we are so pleased to add a large piece by Cody to our home.

This painting somehow perfectly captures the spirit of nature— where every color and shape evokes the feeling of the earth beneath your feet, alive and breathing.
